How do stop auto complete forever? READ the optional info and if you don’t know, please don’t anwser.?
I use google (it does the same with yahoo) and I’ve turn suggestions off in internet options and in the google preferences. Every time I open the internet browser and do a search it will give me suggestions. This happens while using IE7, IE8, Google chrome, Opera and Mozilla 3.
Obviously the cookies that are storing your preferences for Google or Yahoo or whatever browser you’re using are being deleted. This possibly happens everytime you close the browser, resulting in the search engine not ‘remembering’ that you had turned suggestions off when you visit the site again.
I would recommend checking your security settings for whichever browser you use, and ensuring that cookies are not deleted automatically..
