Opening Day
When starting a new season in real estate, its good to play for the entire nine innings. If you start a new project that includes many things to keep track of, you must be prepared to complete all the task involved.
When you start a new deal, you should create a plan of attack just like a new baseball team might do for opening day. If a deal includes requirements like repairs or home improvement, then that should be managed. Imagine your baseball bull pen being contractors that comes off the bench and onto the playing field.
Baseball is a game that played over a range of 9 innings. You could break down all your tasks of the real estate project and sub category the main groups into 9 groups. Then look at your opening day set of tasks and make sure they all execute as planned so to make sure what your doing is going to be a solid performance as you move along into the 2nd group of tasks.
Every baseball team has a coach. Dont be hesitant about considering a Real Estate Coach. They can be obtained from real estate icons such as Armando Montelongo and others. They can guide you along to ensure you can reduce the amount of mistakes you could make along the process.
Be prepared to throw the first pitch of your game. Make sure your real estate plan is well thought out. Look at how much money you will need to coomplete each task and plan on what the selling price will need to be so you can make a profit and the deal can be a success.
Treat your real estate project just like you would an opening day game in baseball. Make sure you complete everything you can complete so when you move into the 2nd inning, you will be on track.
