Stars Stripes
Why do American soldiers have the Stars & Stripes facing the wrong way?
Whenever I see them on TV, the bit where the stars go should be on the top left of the flag, but it is always on the top right instead. I think the record label ‘American Recordings’ who did the later Johnny Cash albums have it facing the wrong way as well.
Going Forword, you will see it on many jets as well. Unlike proper display it is considered that an advancing force would cause the flag to switch fields.
